Mossbit is a general-purpose AI assistant that runs open AI models directly on your iPhone's chip. Nothing you type is ever sent to a server, not even ours. On iPhones with Apple Intelligence, you can also use Apple's built-in model. Ask it to explain something, help you brainstorm, summarize a long block of text, write a first draft, or work through a problem — the same way you'd use any AI chat app, except the model doing the thinking is running on your own hardware, not a server somewhere else.
Chat, conversation history, and search across everything you've asked are free and unlimited, with no account required to unlock them. Mossbit Pro is a single $4.99 purchase — never a subscription — that adds voice conversations, dictation, custom instructions, and response tuning, for the moments you want more control over how Mossbit sounds and works with you.

Mossbit doesn't have an account system, so there is nothing tied to your identity to begin with. Everything it does happens on your device. AI models are downloaded once from Hugging Face (huggingface.co) — only the model files are requested, never your messages or personal data.

Yes. After the one-time model download, everything runs on your iPhone, even in Airplane Mode.
Running AI on the device uses the chip heavily while it writes an answer, like a demanding game. That's normal, and iOS manages the temperature automatically. Mossbit Light uses less power than Smart.
Mossbit Pro is a one-time purchase tied to your Apple ID. Open Mossbit on your new device, go to the upgrade screen, and tap Restore Purchase — Apple verifies it and unlocks Pro with no extra charge.
Open Settings inside Mossbit and go to Data Controls. From there you can export all of your conversations or delete them permanently. Deleting the app itself also removes everything, since nothing is ever stored anywhere else.
