Mossbit is an AI assistant that runs open AI models directly on your iPhone's chip. On iPhones with Apple Intelligence, you can also use Apple's built-in on-device model. AppanDesign LLC ("we," "us," or "our") built Mossbit and publishes this policy for it.

Mossbit does not collect your data. Every conversation is processed and stored only on your own device — nothing about your conversations is sent to us, and nothing is sent to any third party.

Nothing. Mossbit has no account system and no servers of its own, so there is no personal information for us to receive, store, or process.

AI models are downloaded once from Hugging Face (huggingface.co). Only the model files are requested — no messages or personal data are sent, to us or to Hugging Face.

What Mossbit does not do

• No account, sign-in, or profile of any kind
• No analytics, advertising, or third-party SDKs
• No conversation content, prompts, or responses ever leave your device
• No cookies, since Mossbit is not a website

Voice conversations and dictation (Mossbit Pro features) use Apple's on-device speech recognition. Your voice is converted to text on your device — audio is never recorded, saved, or transmitted anywhere, including to us.

Mossbit Pro is a one-time in-app purchase processed entirely by Apple through the App Store. We never see or store your payment details — Apple handles billing, receipts, and refunds directly.

To restore a purchase on a new device, use the Restore Purchase option on the upgrade screen inside Mossbit.

Because everything lives only on your device, you are always in control of it:

• Export: Settings › Data Controls lets you export all of your conversations at any time.
• Delete: Settings › Data Controls also lets you delete all conversations permanently.
• Delete everything: Deleting the Mossbit app from your device removes everything Mossbit ever stored, since nothing exists anywhere else.

Mossbit does not knowingly collect information from anyone, including children, because it does not collect information at all. We comply with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) by design.

If this policy ever changes — for example, if a future version of Mossbit adds an optional feature that involves data leaving the device — we will update the "Last updated" date above and describe the change here before it takes effect.
